I’ve been a part of the journaling community for a few years now. In this community, we share ideas, techniques, and best of all, our pages. I’ve seen thousands of different layouts from hundreds of different people.  Being the psychology nerd that I am, I’ve unearthed some patterns. While everyone’s journal is unique to them, your personal style will usually fall into one of six categories.

What’s your Bullet Journal style? I’ve designed a super fun, fast and easy quiz to help you discover where you fall on the Bullet Journal spectrum. Click below and discover your planner personality!*

Psst! When you’re done with the quiz, check below to get a customized supply list to build your perfect Bullet Journal!

*While I’ve worked hard to be as accurate as possible, this quiz is for entertainment purposes only. Please don’t hate me if you don’t like your results. But please feel free to share with your friends if you do! Enjoy!

  1. Finally, a useful, sensible entertainment quiz. I enjoyed this one. Plus, I got a decent result, LOL.

I am promtted to read this blog now. Looking forward to it.

    • Fable Mira Reply

Exactly, I got boss lady with the first shopping list being the minimalist. Exactly who I am.

    • hollysharp60 Reply

It said artist but the problem is I’m not good at it. Maybe I’ll learn something.

  2. Susanne Jaklitsch Reply

Thanks for your great overview, insights and ideas! I took the test three times, because I wanted to thoroughly reflect on what I expect from my (yet to be created) BUJO. I got inspired, and I’m positive it’s interesting for all journalers who want to compare their habith with their wishes/expectations 🙂

  3. I Love your blog and all the great printables you give us. Thank you so much!

  4. Interesting… I got The Boss Lady! Hahaha I always thought mine were boring because they’re so plain and organized.

  5. Thanks nice to know I have the style of a Boss Lady. I have to go shopping.????

  6. I came out as a rebel. I can see this, but found that my actual use of my journal was never listed. I do keep a monthly calendar as well as lists. The bulk of my journal is artwork and designs, but not the typical doodley, bannery stuff. Designs for stuff to build and make. Ideas, and yes lists, like my seed order plan in the middle of a dollhouse plan. 🙂 The journal I am currently using is a Piccadilly Flatline Sketchbook. I haven’t been able to find another. It’s 7 1/8 by 9 5/8 and about an inch thick with nice cream pages. Wonderful for pencil, markers, and even my fountain pen.

  7. I love the scrap book style. Love colors and washi tape too. I have a 3 ring binder mini binder that I use . I like the ability to add and remove pages when I want.

  8. Somehow I just knew that I’d be the Scrapbooker type. Yes. I am – but not to that extreme. Color and designs adorn every page, but it’s the memories that are important.

  9. Well it said Rebel, but I prefer to think it’s because I’m new to this journaling thing and just getting into the swing of things. I’ll be interested to see what it says in a couple of months?

    • It’s on the middle, the girl with the pink shirt writing in a journal. You click the start button ????.

      • I don’t see a picture of a girl with a pink shirt or any other pictures except for products. If I sign up for your emails will you send the quiz?

  10. When i first started bullet journaling, I got the Boss Lady. About 2 months later, i went again thinking I changed so much. I got the Boss Lady. Today, another 3 months later, I took it again and got the Boss Lady. And read the description and practically yelled, “Oh my GOD that is EXACTLY LIKE ME!” Maybe the quiz knew all along.

  11. Took the quiz and I t showed I am a minimalist. New to bujo so will try it again later as I also love scrapbooking.

  12. I wish I had done this before purchasing the busy days journal. I fear there will be much wasted space, even with the hundreds of stickers purchased to try and make it look used.

I’m a rebel – however I have never journaled due to time and effort required.
I like to see a month view where I can list appointments and meetings.
Some todos and stickers to spunk it up.

  13. Minimalist– can’t draw, can’t letter, keep it simple. Like weekly layout but keep lots of daily journaling- ideas, projects worked on, new classes, articles to write, etc. Not a morning person so review the day and whats for tomorrow at night. I use Arc rings from staples so can move pages around and carry less with me so that i have it with me. Never carried planners because they were too big.

  14. Alisha Walton Reply

I’m a boss lady. I do enjoy color and all that but just learning to draw and use brush pens. For the time being I use stickers to decorate after I draw my boxes and such.

  15. I knew I was considered a Rebel in life, but who knew I would be a Rebel when it came to my planner style!
